Shrimp Tempura

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 package shrimp
  • 1 package surimi or fish cake
  • 1 package panko or bread crumbs
  • 1 egg

Cooking Instructions

Use enough water to make a soft dough.

Mix flour baking powder and enough water to make a smooth paste.

Clean and butterfly shrimp. Salt and refrigerate until time to use.

Spread surimi on one side of the shrimp.

Dip shrimp in panko then beaten egg then panko again.

Deep fry shrimp.
