in a large bowl add your hamburger meat salt pepper garlic. mix well with clean hands be sure that all the ingredients are mixed well. spoon out a good portion of the meat to make roughly 1 4-5 oz ball you'll need to make two of these.
lay out wax paper and get a small plate place the ball of meat on the wax paper and press down on it Lay another sheet of wax paper on top grab your plate and push down gently but firm [this flattens the meat to almost perfect shape] do this to both balls of meat.
in the center of one piece of meat add Bermuda onion [desired thickness depends on you] a slice a ham and your choice of cheese. you can also add jalepenos for those who like it spicy put the other piece of flattened meat on top and crimp the sides very well. hint: smearing egg whites on the edges can help keep the meat held together.
put in skillet over medium heat and cook generally once the cheese begins to come out of the sides your skinny burger is done careful know this skinny burger isn't skinny at all it's thick and hearty and usually takes the biggest hamburger bun you can get and oh yeah unless your a big eater you may not be able to finish it all in one setting so um yeah fries are optional.
