Cooking Instructions

Spread about 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar on the bottom of the slow cooker crock. Place the ham flat side down into the slow cooker - you might have to trim it a little to make it fit. Use your hands to rub the remaining brown sugar onto the ham. Cover, and cook on Low for 8 hours.

great

Hi, This recipe is really great and took the fear out of making a ham!!!!I used a great new product with my slow cooker that I got on www.ezpans.com. What an awesome idea and saved so much time.

I changed this one a little!

I put pineapple juice (from canned pineapple rings in their own juice....not sweetened) after I applied my brown sugar. Then when ham was done, I put pineapple rings on top of ham after removing it from the crockpot! Also used ground cloves to sprinkle on top of brown sugar on top of ham!!!

Liquid??

There's no liquid in this recipe. Seems like the ham would burn in the crockpot. ??????

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
