Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, minced garlic and parsley and season with salt and pepper.
Make a cut into the top of the baguette and tear it open so you can smear the butter inside the loaf. Using a spoon or large knife, smear the garlic butter inside both sides of the loaf. Drizzle with a little olive oil over the top and then loosely wrap in aluminum foil. Bake in hot oven for 15 minutes and then serve immediately.
