Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 1/2 in. pork chops

  • 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 n/a black pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

Heat the oil in a skillet (med-high).

When the oil is hot, add your pork chops and brown for about 10 mins.

While that is browning, mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl.

Add mixture to the skillet and heat to a boil.

Make sure you are flipping the chops and spooning your sauce to coat both sides.

Turn down to low heat and cover to simmer for about 5 mins.

Serve and Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

This dish is great if you enjoy hearty Southern food smothered in gravy, but don't like the baggage that comes with it (less than 300 calories). I serve it with steamed broccoli and roasted asparagus.

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
