Spicy Vegan Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Spanish Onion chopped
  • 1 can Small Artichoke Hearts, chopped
  • 1 can Pitted Black Olives, halved
  • 1 Small Tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Hot Banana Pepper Rings
  • 1 cup Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 jar Diavolo Sauce (spicy red sauce)
  • 2 tsp Ground Flax Seed
  • 2 12" Pre-Baked Pizza Crusts

Cooking Instructions

Follow instructions for preparing crusts. Usually involves greasing baking sheet with veg. oil and plopping them onto it and pre-heating oven.

Smear each crust generously with 1/2 jar of the Divaolo Sauce. This can be found at larger grocery stores it's a spicy version of a classic tomato sauce.

Arrange ingredients as desired. Hint: put onions tomatos and mushrooms down first as they taste better cooked less.

Bake according to directions for crusts. Usually 8-10 minutes.

Sprinkle with 1 tsp of ground flax seed per pizza. This is not only crazy healthy but adds a savory taste that makes for an awesome cheese alternative.
