Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch uncooked refrigerated pie shell
  • 1 15 oz can solid packed pumpkin
  • 1-1/4 cups eggnog,any brand
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 lg eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 12 oz pkg frozen light whip cream,thawed

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly spray a 9-inch pie pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine pumpkin,egg nog,sugar,eggs,pumpkin pie spice and salt. Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake for 60-65 min or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean.foil the edges while baking if they are browning too fast, do this the last 30 min. Cool and serve w/ dollops of whip cream.

Recipe Notes

Because of the eggnog,it has a different, but wonderful flavor compared to other pumpkin pies.
