Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salted Fish-Fillet
  • 1 Union thinly sliced
  • 4 Cloves Garlic thinly chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes cut into cubes or slices
  • 1/4 tbsp. Blackpepper
  • 2 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • 4 Roti (which is the traditional Indian bread normally eaten with curries or cooked vegetables. It is made most often from wheat flour cooked on a flat or slightly concave iron griddle)
  • OR 4 Naan (which is a round flatbread made of white flour.Naan resembles pita bread)
  • OR 2 Cups Cooked Rice (Brown or White)

Cooking Instructions

Steam salted fish in medium skillet over high heat for 10 minutes. Drain then add cold water , break in little pieces and squeezed, then wash again until 95% of salty taste has washed away.

Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add garlic union tomatoes and blackpepper and saute for 3 to 5 minutes.

Add salted fish and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve with Roti Naan or over Rice.
