Brown the turkey bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, then remove from skillet. Saute the onion and green pepper until tender, then add the okra, tomatoes, thyme, and black pepper. Crumble or cut the bacon and add to the okra mixture. Cover the skillet and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook for 5 minutes longer and serve.
