Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 cup stout beer
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper or a few dashes Tabasco sauce

Cooking Instructions

Pour the beer into a glass and allow it to reach room temperature and the bubbles subside.

Grate the cheddar cheese into a large bowl then cream in the blue cheese and butter with a wooden spoon or mixer until combined. Pour in the beer stirring or mixing until thoroughly incorporated then add in the rest of the ingredients stirring or mixing until the mixture it very smooth.

Spoon the cheese into a sealable container and allow flavors to blend for a few hours or overnight.

Serve with Stacy's® Multigrain Pita Chips or Stacy's® Naturally Cheddar Pita Chips
