Mix the sugar and cinnamon. Dip the ready-made biscuits into the sugar/cinnamon mixture. set aside.
Pour the rest of the sugar mixture over the strawberries. Mix and pour into a large cast iron skillet.
Top with the coated biscuits.
Put the skillet on top of a medium grill and bake for 25-40 minutes. When the biscuits are brown and the strawberries are bubbly this dish is ready to be served with a topping of ice cream of whipped cream.
My friend Sandy brought this recipe up to our cabin in the mountains and impressed the crowd.
