Stuffed Bell Peppers with Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 jar tomato sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tblspn Garlice Salt

Cooking Instructions

Cook rice usually 30 minutes i 1 cup of rice for every 2 cups of water.

Preheat oven to 375

Cup tops of bell peppers off.

mince onion

after rice cooks:

mix ground beef, egg, garlic,onion and rice in large bowl adding a small about of tomato sauce for taste but not to much. It will be d later. Stuff each bell pepper with mixture.

Let cook in glass baknig dish for 30 minutes the take out and pour the rest of the sauce on top of the peppers and if you d the tops the replace them over the sauce.

Put back in oven and let cook for additional 20-30 minutes.

Good, But Salty!

The filling was really good! Great recipe...but it calls for way too much garlic salt! It was almost too much to eat at times, so would def. cut the salt in half!
