Dice your peppers and mushrooms Combine with minced garlic and saute in cooking sherry
Make 8 flat but big patties
sprinkle the five cheese blend on 4 paties, then add the already sauted peppers, mushrooms, and garlic; evenly distributing it over 4 patties.
Next, layer pepperoni slices on top of the patties as many or little as you want.
Take the other 4 patties and and cap the ones with everything on them, making 4 big patties.
Make sure you can make complete patties, leaving no sight of the inside.
Grill them slowly until the beef is done. (Optional) Add a slice of cheese on the outside.
Usually served without a bun because of it's size. Lose the peppers if you don't like the spice.
I came up with this on a whim. It is a great tasting and very filling burger.
