Saute sausage with onion until cooked thru. Drain. Add remaining ingrediants and bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Season to taste with more salt and pepper. Serve over your favorite pasta and parmesan.
This is a versatile recipe that is easy to make, tastes wonderful, and works well with homemade meatballs. I it as a base sauce for ziti, lasagne, and most pasta dishes requiring a red sauce.
