sweet orange lamb

Ingredients

  • 4lb leg of lamb/shoulder
  • 8oz orange juice
  • 4oz dark soy sauce
  • 4oz demerara or dark brown sugar
  • 3 large oranges

Cooking Instructions

open roast lamb on a rack cover with sliced oranges cook approx 2hrs depending on the size of lamb. 350 degrees, gas mark 4.

wait for lamb to cool then slice

while lamb is cooling put orange juice, soy sauce & sugar in microwave for 5 mins on full power.

pour over sliced lamb, cover with foil cook in the oven for 1 hr on a low light, 300, gas mark 3, baste as often as possible.
