Peel and slice yams into equeal size pieces boil in salted water until fork pierces easily drain and place in mixing bowl. Add butter, egg, sugar and extract mash until smooth, Place in casserole leaving at least one half inch to top. Add marshmellows to cover, sprinkle cinnamon on top, bake in 300 degree oven 30 minutes, done when marshellows have melted. Enjoy

No Way....No How.....it ain't pie!This ain't Sweet Potato Pie....no way....no how! It's similar to Sweet Potato Casserole but in no way, shape or form is this recipe for a pie. |

Sweet tater pieJust pour it in a deep dish pie crust and bake it for30 mins, after you add another egg or 2 and some nutmeg. Forget the marshmallows if you wanna call it pie though. |

sweet 'tater pie?That sounds like candied yams or and easy version of sweet potato casserole minus the brown sugar encrusted pecans on top . It sounds good but it ain't "sweet 'tater pie". |
