Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large saucepan, combine the cornmeal and whipping cream and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove the cream mixture from the heat and add the butter, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Fold in the eggs. Pour the batter into a 1-1/2-quart baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 60 minutes.
