Heat oil in large saucepan. Add carrot, onion and garlic; cook 10 minutes or until soft. Add tomatoes, broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer; cook uncovered 15 minutes.
Meanwhile dice avocado.
Purée soup in batches in food processor or blender. Return to pan; stir in avocado and corn. Reheat.
