Ingredients

  • 1/2 c granulated sugar
  • 1 c white corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp margarine, melted
  • Dash salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c broken pecan meats
  • Unbaked 9-inch piecrust

Cooking Instructions

Cook sugar and syrup until thickened. Beat eggs; slowly add hot syrup to eggs, beating constantly. Add melted margarine, salt, vanilla, and pecans and pour into unbaked piecrust. Bake in preheated 450F oven for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 300F and bake 35 minutes.
