Trim all visible fat from the roast.
Place in a well-sprayed crock pot. Sprinkle the Good Seasons over the roast. Pour the entire bottle of barbecue sauce over the seasoned roast. Pour the beer around the sides of the crock pot. Do NOT mix, stir, or shake the crock pot. Serve with Bob Evans sour cream and chive mashed potatoes. (The sauce is great.)
I start this at 8 before I go to work and it smells so good when I get home later. We eat it at 6, so I do cook it for 10 hours. Everyone loves it over here!
