Toll House Marble Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 t water
  • 2 + 2 cups + Tbs. flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

Mix butter, sugars, vanilla, and water thoroughly. Add eggs. Mix. Blend in flour,soda and salt. Spread in large bun pan. sprinkle with chocolate chips. Place in oven for 1 minute. Take out and swirl bread knife through the chips to marblize the dough. return to oven and bake in a 375 degree oven for 12 - 14 minutes. cool cut into 2 " squares.

Recipe Notes

This is a recipe my children have loved to make. Michael made it in sixth grade, often for fundraisers, and it is Hailey's favorite.
