Separate bread slices so that they will "match" when placed on top of one another. Mix together mayonaise, mustard, and capers. Spread on bread. Divide ham between 4 sandwiches. Top with cheese, 2 tomato slices and 1 leaf butter lettuce. Top with remaining bread slice. Press down and wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
I love potato rosemary bread with just about anything. This is also a good sandwich made with prosciutto, baby spinach, ricotta cheese and roasted red peppers.

07/25/09 04:32 PM | A Great Summer Sandwich!I love potato rosemary bread with just about anything, but particularly in sandwiches. I prefer this sandwich with simply the mustard, and sometimes substitute prosciutto for the ham and spinach for the lettuce. |
