Turkey Dumpit Soup

Ingredients

  • 4-5 l cooked turkey (fried or baked) pulled into pieces
  • 2-3 l left over veggies(corn,limas,peas,potatoes etc.)
  • all b legs,neck,wings breast
  • 2 lg diced tomatoes with liquid
  • 4 sta chopped celery
  • 3-4 sliced carrots

Cooking Instructions

boil down larger bones in water to make a broth, season with salt & pepper to taste. remove bones and add celery & carrots.

add various left over vegetables to broth from your thanksgiving meal such as corn, limas, peas, diced cooked potatoes etc.(thus the name dumpit)

bring to a boil then simmer for about 1 hr stirring occasionally. Re-season with "season all" or other favorite vegetable seasoning.

serve with sliced and heated cheese bread loaf.
