Season your turkey with butter, salt and pepper.
My oven stopped working, so I had to cut the turkey in half. I put it in a crockpot and cooked it until it was done. It wasnt't brown, but it was very juicy. I made a dark gravy and I put it over the turkey.

03/09/08 03:03 PM | Another twist - Vhelm1954I do the same thing, except I spray my turkey breast with "I can't believe it's not butter" spray (no carbs, no calories), then sprinkle with salt, pepper, crushed rosemary and italian seasonings. It is to die for! |

Here's an easy, reliable way to ensure a moist and flavorful turkey...simply baste the turkey with chicken stock during roasting. When the turkey is done, use a bit more stock to make a quick and tasty gravy.
