Place the loin of veal in a shallow pan. Prepare the marinade blending well, and pour over the veal, covering completely. Let marinate at room temperature for 2 hours, spooning marinade over lamb occasionally.
Insert spit rod through the center of the veal or place directly on grill. Preheat the barbecue on high for about 10 minutes. Place the roast on the upper grill, over high heat, for 5 minutes to sear. Move over to unheated lower grill, reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking with indirect heat.
If using rotisserie, place over high indirect heat for 5 minutes Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking.
