In a large frying pan or sauce pan, warm the oil over med-low heat. When hot add the onions, cinnamon and cloves. Cook stirring occasionally, until the onion is cooked. About 7 minutes.
Next Stir in Ginger, garlic, ground coriander, cayenne pepper to taste and turmeric. Cook while stirring, until the spices turn several shades darker. About 5 minutes.
Add the "Chick'n" pieces and cook, stirring to make certain the Vegi Chicken absorbs great spice and flavour, about 4 minutes.
Then add tomatoes and salt. Mix well and bring to a boil over med-high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Check and correct seasonings if needed. Sprinkle with garam masala and cilantro and serve.
This is a very easy and yummy Vegetarian Indian Recipe! Even those who eat meat would enjoy this recipe as it is full of flavor and not overly spicy. Great to serve with Rice or any Indian Breads.
