World's Best Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs Yukon Gold or Kerry Gold Potatos, no other will do!
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 pint whipping cream, warmed NOT Boiling
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp White pepper or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg or to taste
  • 2 TBSP Milk if needed for consistency.

Cooking Instructions

Peel and rinse the potatoes. Crush Garlic and add to potatoes with Cold water. Boil until tender. Mash potatoes either by hand or with a hand held mixer. Add the butter and the whipping cream, continue to mix, add spices and milk if necessary. These need no extra butter
